The auto industry must be more creative to use this data to capture a larger share of the consumer’s attention and overall transportation spend – both in and beyond usage of vehicles. With a high level of interest in self-enabling vehicles that can learn, heal, drive and socialize, IBM is helping automakers and suppliers to visualize how cognitive systems, like IBM Watson, can inform drivers about maintenance issues, road conditions and safety alerts.
