Glow Plug Diagnostic Strategies
In the Glow Plug Diagnostic Strategies course, the technician will learn:
  • How to explain the purpose of the glow plugs in CI/ICE Compression Ignited Internal Combustion Engine
  • How to identify the types of Glow Plugs, functions and control methods
  • How to describe and operate the electrical/electronic controls
  • Diagnostic techniques, oscilloscope, scan tool, DMM and others
  • Injector flow programming procedures and how it relates to misfire DTC and repeat glow plug replacement
