Diagnosing Vehicle Electronics Problems (Español)
Today’s vehicles contain a complex mix of sensors, actuators and control modules to perform most functions. Raising a window can involve a switch module, door module, and body control module in addition to the motor that does the work. A test light can only go so far in diagnosing these circuits and jumper wires can spell disaster if used incorrectly.

The goal of this class is to prepare you to diagnose and repair problems in body, chassis, HVAC, and powertrain control systems, as well as the data bus that connects them. Case studies will be used to demonstrate techniques you can use to reduce the time spent on diagnosis.
