Understanding Modern Timing Control

Cam Phase systems will be discussed. Scope and scanner based diagnostics will be highlighted. These systems are having a lot of concerns. Use bi-directional commands and other tools to evaluate the cam advance system. What about oil change intervals? What does the term "pumping loss" mean? Deceleration braking will be discussed along with diagnostics. Since most vehicles are using these systems all technicians should attend.
